Xiaomi Pad 5


Apart from the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, the company also announced their return to the now hot tablet market with the Xiaomi Pad 5. Apart from the obvious cosmetic similarities to Samsungs and Apple's tablet offering, the Xiaomi Pad has specs to compete and even has a stylus on tow. 

Powered by a Snapdragon 860 SOC, the tablet has 6GB of ram with 128GB or 256GB storage options with no expansion. The front of the tablet is dominated by a 2560x1600 resolution 120Hz IPS LCD with Stylus support and stands at 11". Dolby vision and HDR10 is supported as well.

The cameras on the tablet include a single 13MP sensor at the back and one 8MP sensor at the front and the tablet supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

Rest of the specs include a 8720 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, support for a  magnetically attached stylus (sold at EUR100) which will start charging once attached to the tablet and a magnetic keyboard which will be available on a later date. 

Pricing for the tablet starts at EUR349 for the base model and EUR 399 for the standard 256 variant, but users can pick up the base model for EUR299 as an early bird treat.
