IFA 2015 - Sony Xperia Z5 Compact announced

Sony has officially unveiled the three new successors to the flagship Xperia Z lineup . The trio - the Xperia Z5  - a spiritual successor to the Z3+ , Xperia Z5 Compact - a compact edition packing good hardware similar to flagship models and the Xperia Z5 Premium - a phone that is set to pack even more punch thanks to its high res screen (and high price tag)

Sony started its quest of refining the compact phone category with the launch of the Z1 compact in 2013 . The phone series - started as a spin-off line to compete against the "mini" craze started out by Samsung and HTC proved to be a good move for the OEM as compact models are well sought after eventhough they cost just as much as the bigger flagship models . The new model - the Xperia Z5 compact shares much of its DNA from previous edition including the familiar omni balance design and IP ratings . Although this compact phone is small by today's display sizes , dont let its 4.65" fool you as this model feature the same specs as its bigger brother(s) the Xperia Z5 and Z5 premium . Inside you get a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Soc (a bit overkill for such a small device ) 2GB of RAM . 32GB of storage  , adreno 430 graphics and of course Sony's refined optics.

Sony has also been graceful in making its camera experience a lot better as the new phone features a 23MP rear camera - this new camera module is also another first for the Xperia series as all previous versions from the Z1 to the Z3+ were all stuck at 20.7 MP .The new model has a F2.0 Aperture a 24mm focal equivalence and 120fps on 720p and 4K video recording .The module can shoot 23MP in 4:3 and 20MP in 16:9 aspect ratio . a front facing 5 mp shooter is present on the Xperia Z5 compact

Other specs in the Xperia Z5 include IP68 certification ,a Fingerprint scanner , NFC , MIcroSD expansion  , Fast charging and a 2700 mAh non removable battery

The event, held on the 18th of October as a recorded session displayed the key features of the iPads with the most significant being the base model iPad which has now received an upgrade. iPad 2022 This model of the base model iPad ditches the almost 12 year old home button and display layout and goes for a cleaner display only design found on the iPad Air . The chassis, which now comes with flatter sides and a TouchID fingerprint sensor on the top has also abandoned the lightning port in favor of USB C and it also comes with a set of pogo style connectors for accessories including a keyboard with trackpad.  Internally, the iPad comes either as a Wifi only (Wifi6) and a 5G cellular model and is offered with 64 or 256GB of storage. HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
