Nokia have announced 4 new Android 12 powered devices to its lineup - the Nokia G60 5G, Nokia X30 5G, Nokia C31 and the Nokia T21 Tablet.All devices stay true to Nokia heritage with MicroSD expansion and come with Android 12 with the X30 and G60 set to receive 3 major OS updates  Nokia X30 5G The X30 5G is Nokia's highest specced device in the latest announcement , the device, powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G soc, it has two memory and storage options with 6GB/128GB or 8GB 256GB RAM and Storage options respectively. The 256GB variant is UFS 3.0 so expect high speed data transfers. The display consists of a 6.43" Amoled panel with 90hz refresh rate and is FHD+ resolution and has Gorilla glass Victus protection as well as a notch for the 16mp selfie camera. Samsung has officially announced their Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro - a tablet with better protection than your typical vanilla mobile device.  The Active 4 pro is powered by a unspecified %G compatible processor which we believe would be a high end or mid tier Snapdragon Soc and is paired with 6GB of RAM and has 128 GB of storage. The tablet also has microsd expansion. The tablet, unlike its peers, come with IP68 ingress protection, MIL-STD-810 H drop protection as well as a slot for Samsung's S-PEN stylus. The tablet also has a userreplaceable battery and is rated for 7600 mAh battery as well as a special POGO pin socket for charging. and bringing in some nostalgia from the past, the tablet also has Samsung's older design home and multitask keys as buttons and a main button with a fingerprint sensor sitting on a thick bezel around a 10.1" 1920x1080 display. Samsung has announced two new handsets to their A series lineup - the A04S and A23. The A04S is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 850 Soc and has 3 GB of Ram and 32GB of storage. The handset has a 90Hz refresh rate HD+ LCD panel at 6.5" and has a U shaped notch with a 5MP resolution sensor and has a 50MP rear camera with a 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor and it comes with a 5000 mAh battery. The slightly higher specced A23 has a 6.6" FHD+ resolution LCD with 120hz refresh rate and an Infinity V notch with a 8mp camera and comes with a 50MP main camera a 2mp depth and 2mp macro sensor but the device is powered by Snapdragon's 695 5G SOC and has 4GB of ram with 64GB storage. the handset also comes with 5000 mAh's but it has a 25W fast charging ability unlike the 15 of the A04s. Sony has officially launched their latest iteration of the Xperia series - the Sony Xperia 5 IV - 5G. The phone, which features a 6.1" FHD+ 120 hz OLED display also has HDR enhancement and is protected by a sheet of Gorilla glass Victus. The phone, unlike other modern flagships, does not come with a notch for the front camera and instead has a small bezel where the 12MP 4k capable camera and its sensors sit. The other camera options on this phone include a 24mm equivalent sensor 1/1.7", a 60 mm equivalent telephoto camera and a 124 degree ultra wide camera of which all three are of 12 megapixels. With the exception of the ultra wide, the other two have OIS stabilization and dual pixel PDAF and Zeiss optics.  Oppo has launched two new smartphones to its lineup - Oppo A57s and A57e  The A57s, powered by a helios G35 processor comes with 4GB of storage and has 64GB of internal storage of which an additional 4GB could be dedicated as virtual ram. You also get a microSD card for expansion as well. Rest of the specs include a 6.59" LCD display and has a 8MP front camera and a rear 50MP main camera as well as a 2MP monochrome sensor. The device also has NFC, IP54 ingress protection and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The battery on board is 5000 mAh and could be charged with USB - C with 33@ fast charging. The second device is the A57e - this phone also has a 6.59" display and the basic specs of the A57s including the battery specs but only skips on the main camera which is reduced to 13MP as well as having no NFC and no stereo speakers. Nikon Z9 Nikon has officially launched their flagship Mirrorless camera - the Z9. The camera, which in some ways takes over the position of the D6 as the era of DSLR's slowly wind down boasts a 45.7MP sensor with no mechanical shutter, 8K recording and 120fps shooting. The Z9 features a Full frame 45.7MP Stacked CMOS sensor with 493 AF points and has Hybrid Phase detection AF. The sensor has a sensitivity of ISO 64 to 25600 (32-102400 expandable) and considering that has an electronic shutter, it can reach 1/32000 shutter speed (max) and if you want to use a flash it can hit a maximum of 1/800 through HSS (high speed sync) . It's no secret that Android is the most saturated operating system ever, the variety of applications running the software has caused issues when scaling as manufacturers use a variety of screen sizes when designing their product. But Android does have the ability to scale and since Android 4.0 attempts were made to scale apps accordingly, but with more form factors in the horizon, Google has re-visited the concept and has announced the Android 12L feature update (L for Large).  The new update, which according to Google is said to be targeting the growing Android tablet market and the Chromebook market and it has thereby created new features including improved notification shades, a taskbar with drag and drop support and native multitasking support. DJI has announced their latest Action Camera - the DJI Action 2. The camera, a departure from the Original DJI Action which went toe-to-to with GoPro cameras has now followed a modular philosophy (Kind of like the InstaOne360 series and the now dead GoPro Session series) and thus is sealed up basically making it more of a cube which you can easily mount to any surface or wear easily. The cube- which measures at 39x39x22.5mm weighs only 59g has only four noticeable features on the chassis - one is the camera - which is a 1/1.7" sensor with f2.8 aperture and a ultra wide 155 degree field of view. The sensor allows you to capture 12MP photos and it can record 4K at 120fps and has Rockstready 2.0 image stabilization and a horizon lock feature called "horizon steady". Sony has gone big with its new Xperia Pro - I , the phone, equipped with a 1" sensor is currently one of the largest smartphone sensors around and thus it can practically compete against pretty much any smartphone or compact camera around. Sony has officially launched their latest iteration of the Alpha A7 - the A7 IV (Mk4), the new camera, announced as a successor to the A7III from a few years back brings many improvements such as improved autofocus,4K in 60fps, a fully articulating screen and a new sensor that comes close to the first gen A7R in terms of megapixels.
